My name is Karim and I am 48 years old. I live in Toronto, Canada.

I have kept my adverse reaction to the vaccine mostly private, but I can no longer stay silent. I am coming forward to help bring awareness as to how hundreds of thousands and maybe even millions are suffering with little to no help from the government or the medical community.

I have had three doses of the COVID vaccine. While nobody forced me to get vaccinated three times, I really thought I was doing the right thing.

My father is a GP and arranged my appointment at his clinic. My only hesitation was that there were no long-term studies as to potential side effects. But considering billions of people were getting vaccinated and I’d not heard about any adverse reactions, I decided to go ahead. Little did I know that people were suffering from serious and debilitating side effects but were being silenced and censored.

After my first two vaccines I did not have any side effects. Not even a sore arm. So why not get the third? This was the biggest mistake of my life and I am paying for it in so many ways.

Shortly after my third vaccine I started to experience pain in my back, arms, shoulders and chest area. I thought I had COVID-19 and it would pass in a few days. But after speaking to my GP he suggested I visit the ER to rule out anything serious, considering I had pain in my chest area. I reluctantly went to the ER the next day and my biggest fear was getting COVID while sitting in the waiting area. I thought the ER would be packed with COVID patients as this was what I was seeing on TV and on news media.

I arrived at the ER at a major Toronto hospital and was surprised that it was relatively empty. I checked in with the triage nurse and she took my vitals. Within minutes I was rushed into the ER department and I knew something was seriously wrong.

They did an EKG and took blood samples. I had an irregular heartbeat, sinus tachycardia and my inflammation markers were off the charts. I started to have difficulty breathing.

A nurse put me into a wheelchair and took me to another room with a lot of medical equipment and I heard her yell to the medical staff that ‘we have a stemmie’. I didn’t know what this meant and when I asked she told me a doctor would come by shortly to explain.

The doctor arrived and I was told I was on the verge of having a heart attack. He indicated they would need to insert stents into my arteries. I was terrified as I couldn’t understand why this was happening at such a young age. I waited for a while to be transferred to the operating room until a senior cardiologist appeared. She did some further investigations and concluded I was not having a heart attack. She asked when I’d been vaccinated. I hadn’t even thought to correlate my illness with the vaccines. A few minutes later I overheard doctors and nurses talking about the several patients that had visited with the same symptoms and diagnosis.

I was eventually diagnosed with pericarditis and sent on my way with some prescriptions. I was told this was not serious and I would be fine in a couple of weeks. I was told this was “viral”. I am a single guy and self-employed with no dependants, so having health insurance had never crossed my mind.

If I had to pay out of pocket for my medications for a week or a couple of months, no big deal.

A couple of weeks later I was feeling much better. I went to see the cardiologist that was on call at the hospital that day. She did a bunch of tests and I was told my issues had resolved and to taper my medications. I went home and followed her instructions.

Within five days all my symptoms returned, only much worse this time. I had to call an ambulance. I was in so much pain and could hardly breathe. I remember being in the ER waiting area and I thought I wasn’t going to make it.

This time I had something called a pericardial effusion that was large enough to prevent my heart from beating properly. I was admitted and put back on my original dose of medications. After four nights at the hospital, I was discharged and things settled down.

A week later I went to see the same cardiologist for a follow-up visit. She did the same tests and once again said my issues had resolved and to taper my medications.

Within a couple of days I had to call an ambulance once again and was again admitted to the same hospital. My cardiologist had never seen a patient like me in her entire career. For the third time they put me back on the original doses of medication. But this time they said I needed to be on the meds for six months with zero tapering regardless of how I felt. This included nine 200mg pills of ibuprofen per day along with other meds. This is a super high dose and not good for the stomach.

Eventually, I had episodes over and over without any tapering of the medications. In total, I have called an ambulance five times and have been hospitalized each time. I have not worked for months and have been in constant pain for a long time now. My heart rate is off the charts while doing simple things such as taking out the trash or walking my dog. I cannot go far from my home on foot.

I can’t exercise whatsoever. I can’t go to the mall or take my dog to the park as I used to do regularly.

I dug deeper and came across several support groups for people in my situation. Initially, I was shocked at how many people were suffering from adverse reactions. There are thousands of people with myocarditis and pericarditis that are suffering just like me. The drug companies said this side effect was ‘mild and treatable’ but this is a huge lie. People are not responding to traditional treatment protocols for these conditions. I know 100% that my situation was caused by the vaccine and even the doctors will admit it, yet none of them will put this on paper or report my adverse reaction.

To make things worse, I am suffering financially. My cardiologist recommended a specific medication that can help but it is very costly. I applied to the Canadian Ministry of Health for assistance, but they dismissed my application. I was approved for assistance via a government program that helps pay for medications for low-income people and households yet none of the meds I am on are covered.

I always thought Canada was a great country. But the advice they gave me made me sick and now they will not help me to get better. What a slap in the face. My life is destroyed. I am terrified at the thought of this being a lifelong debilitating condition. How will I keep the roof over my head?

I have a mortgage to pay and medical expenses I never had before. Is it only a matter of time before I lose everything? How will I get by in life.? I have been stripped of all joy and have no future to look forward to if this continues.

While this is my story and it sucks, I know there are countless people in an even worse position with more severe medical issues. Many of these people are being gaslit and have zero help from the medical community. These drug companies that have caused this have pocketed billions and have made no effort into researching how the people hurt by this evil poison can be helped.

I would like to thank the family and friends that have helped me through these difficult and challenging times. I am lucky to have a support group and parents that are able to help in so many ways. But I would also like to give a special shout-out to the thousands of strong and vocal injured people who are fighting for our rights and who are bringing awareness about how the vaccine has destroyed and taken away so many lives. Without you, I would have never discovered these support groups and accounts that are reporting what is truly going on.
